Culture of Tonga

PROUD OF BEING TONGAN Malo e lelei a greeting from the beautiful islands of Tonga, also know as the friendly Islands of all the pacific.Tonga is the only island in the pacific that is ruled by a King, the people have strong beliefs of their culture and honour their God. So, why am I proud of being a Tongan and why you should be to? lastly I’m proud of my heritage of being a Tongan. beautiful, respectful, loyal and loving people. Tongans are very strong believers of their culture and what they believe. We wear kiekie, or taovala and puatassi’s to show our respect for the land king and God. One day of the week where everyone in Tonga on Sunday goes to church no business are open, very spiritual and believe in miracle. The motto of a Tongan is God and Tonga are my inheritance.
